Right from our first meeting, I knew I would love to photograph Katherine and Ben’s wedding day. They had a beautiful marquee wedding in Cheshire. The weather on their day kept us on our toes as it was a bit of a stormy one with a couple of heavy downpours. My morning started off photographing the bridal preparations at Katherine’s parent’s home while Ben was having his groom preparations photographed at the Old Hall in Frodsham with his groomsmen. Katherine was getting ready with her mum and bridesmaids. The atmosphere was full of excitement and the champagne was flowing. I photographed candidly while everyone getting ready. Katherine bridesmaids helped into her wedding dress and she looked utterly stunning. Her parents waited patiently downstairs to see their daughter in her dress and when they did, they both looked so proud and happy. It was time to head over to the marquee when I arrived Everyone was seated and the wedding ceremony to begin. First to walk up the aisle Ben with his parents beside him. He wore a custom-made blue velvet jacket that had been engraved with their wedding date, next to walk in was the beautiful bridesmaids all wearing long pink matching dresses. It was now time for Katherine and her father to walk down the aisle together, such a perfect moment. All their family and friends watched together has Katherine and Ben exchanged their wedding vows to each other and became Mr and Mrs Illingworth. Soon after we went straight into the photographs and onto the wedding breakfast and the speeches, the cutting of the cake that led nicely into the first dance. Mr and Mrs Illingworth, I wish you both all the very best together, and thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer.
