Today’s wedding was at Chester Zoo in Cheshire. I was photographing Adele and Paul’s wedding. When I arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant, and the registers couldn’t have been more accommodating. I walked into the In the ceremony room and the atmosphere was relaxed. The groom was chatting away to his best man and the arriving wedding guests. I photographed candidly while everyone settled in. The registrar came in and announced the arrival of the bride so Paul took his place upfront. First to walk down the aisle was the flower girl followed by two bridesmaids and then the page boys. It was now the bride’s turn. Adele made her entrance linked to her mum who proudly walked her down the aisle. Everyone watched has Adele and Paul said their wedding vows to each other and everyone cheered as they were pronounced the new Mr and Mrs Fellows. After the ceremony, Adele lit a candle of remembrance of her dad John Rowland who is no longer with us, but she knew he would have been so proud to see her marrying her best friend Paul. I started off with the group photograph and then went into the confetti shot. Then it was onto the traditional family portraits and then I concentrated on the images of the couple together. Soon after it was time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches. The speeches were packed with humor and constant laughing. Not long after was the evening party Mr and Mrs Fellows took to the dance floor for their first romantic dance to James Arthur ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’. I loved photographing every moment of Adele and Paul’s wedding, capturing their moments from start to finish and meeting all their friends and family. Who knew that a wedding Chester zoo could be so much fun. I’ll leave you with a few of my favorite moments from their day.
